Admission & Registration Procedures

Graduate Credit Instructions

In order to receive graduate credit through Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School of Education and Human individuals must complete an admission application form and formally register for classes. Please follow the steps outlined below to begin the admission process. Admission Criteria

Special Student – Non-degree seeking
A non-degree-seeking student is one who wishes to take a course in the Master of Science in Education - Graduate Teacher Education Program (GTEP), but does not intend to pursue a degree at the time of application. Non-degree seeking applicants must submit the following in order to register for classes:

  • A completed application form with a $50 nonrefundable fee
  • An official transcript indicating a conferred bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a 2.0 minimum grade point average (based on a 4.0 grading scale)

Non-degree-seeking students are limited to enroll in a maximum of 18 semester hours of graduate courses. Enrollment in these courses does not guarantee acceptance into a degree-seeking program. After taking graduate classes as a non-degree-seeking student, the student must submit a completed application to become degree-seeking. The student must also meet all the requirements for admission for their intended program of study. An additional application fee is required.

Application Instructions:

  • Complete the Master of Science in Education admission application form and include a $50.00 nonrefundable application fee. (The fee required for processing.)
  • Sign and date the application form.
  • Mail or fax the application along with an official bachelor’s or graduate degree transcript (with conferral) from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Send the completed admission application form to:

Note: Please allow 2-3 business days for processing of your application. Our office will notify via U.S. mail you once you have been admitted.
Registration
Once you have completed the admission application form, you will need to follow steps outlined below to officially register for the course.

  • Complete a Student Transaction Form -AMNH  (STF). (Complete sections A and C, provide an email address and sign the form.)
  • Fax the STF to the Office of Enrollment Services – Registration Department at (954) 262–2336.
  • Retain the STF for your records until you receive an email confirmation from a FSEHS Registration Representative.

Graduate Credit

Upon completion of the AMNH Seminar in Science course(s), you must complete an admission application form and register for the corresponding course(s) as outlined above. All payments and other related fees should be submitted in order to receive an official transcript from Nova Southeastern University.

Requesting an Official Transcript

Should you require an official transcript, please note that depending on the Master of Science in Education term dates, it may take up to 45 days to receive an official transcript.
