APA Guidelines
- Corrections to the First Printing of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Sixth Edition
- Clarification of APA section 3.94 (5th ed. of Publication Manual) with regard to subsequent references, within a paragraph, of a single work.
- APA Style Guide to Electronic References – Updated guidelines are available free of charge to NSU students from Distance and Instructional Library Services. Fischler School dissertation students may continue using the guidelines from the fifth edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (2001) to prepare their reference lists. Students who choose to follow the more recent and updated guidelines should not mix the two styles in their reference lists. Consistency within either style is expected. (Follow the guidelines of the sixth edition of APA’s Publication Manual for applied dissertations submitted to the ARC for the final-approval process after January 1, 2010.)

From the Microsoft Office Web site's Assistance Center, a step-by-step procedure for the Table of Contents shows how to insert a line of dots that leads to page numbers (for Word 2002).
These detailed instructions for pagination (Word 2003 and Word 2007) were contributed by Committee Chair David Weintraub, EdD.
