Sponsorship
The Black Heritage Council of Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School of Education and Human Services cordially invite you to sponsor the 6th Annual Carrie P. Meek Outstanding Education Leadership Achievement Award Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010. This celebration is designed to honor the achievement of Blacks of all cultures and heritages and their contributions to the growth and development of the South Florida community.
Nova Southeastern University is a private, independent, non-profit organization that has an enrollment of more than 27,000 students and is the largest independent institution of higher education in the Southeast and the sixth largest independent institution nationally. Additionally, for more than ten years, Nova Southeastern University has been ranked as the number one producer of African American doctorates among both traditionally white institutions and historically Black colleges and universities.
The Black Heritage Council is a major entity of the Office of Community Education and Diversity Affairs. The mission of this office is to increase awareness and understanding of workplace diversity and to develop concrete skills among employees that result in improved communications, increased productivity, and an inclusive environment.
The purpose of the Black Heritage Council is to promote excellence, inspire greatness, and award achievements through recognition and scholarships.
Together, we can continue to inspire the leadership and excellence that we see modeled in Carrie P. Meek and the awardees for the past three years. We ask for and appreciate your support as a sponsor. Please see below the levels of sponsorship, and the sponsorship form.
