Dr. Mia Holland earned her Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University where her dissertation earned the national honor of Outstanding Applied Dissertation. Within Nova Southeastern University's Fischler School of Education and Human Services.
Dr. Holland is a Dissertation Advisor and an adjunct faculty member. She also teaches graduate and undergraduate web-based and traditional courses for several institutions of higher education in the areas of Special Education, Psychology/Counseling, and Developmental Reading.
Dr. Holland has extensive experience working in a variety of settings including institutions of higher education, state social service and juvenile justice agencies, psychiatric facilities, and public school systems.
She provides consultation, conducts trainings, and delivers presentations for non-profit organizations, state agencies, academic institutions, and national organizations.
She is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children and the American Psychological Association. |
