Education World, the Educator’s Best Friend is a website for educators to gather and share ideas. The website was created to provide complete online resource where educators could find lesson plans and research materials they would need each day for teaching. The website includes:

A search engine for educational websites only, a place where educators can find information without searching the entire Internet;
Original content, including lesson plans, practical information for educators, information on how to integrate technology in the classroom, and articles written by education experts;
Site reviews;
Daily features and columns;
Teacher and principal profiles;

The Lesson Plans Page is a collection of over 2,000 lesson plans, primarily at the elementary level, that were developed by Kyle Yamnitz, students, and faculty at The University of Missouri. More recent lesson plans have also been submitted by the users of this website. The Lesson Plans Page was developed to assist educators of all types. Elementary school teachers can get lesson plans that are ready to use in their classrooms. College students can find great example lesson plans or ideas to base their own lesson plans on. Home schoolers can get lesson plans to use at home and parents can get ideas for educational activities to use with their children.
