For Florida and Nevada State-Approved Programs:
Must satisfy all NSU and FSEHS course requirements in addition to the following:
- Submitted passing scores for all sections of the General Knowledge Test and/or CLAST examination if taken prior to July 1, 2002 (Florida) , or Praxis I (Nevada)
- Submitted passing scores for the Florida Teacher Certification Professional Examination (Florida) or Praxis II Professional Skills Test (Nevada)
- Either currently enrolled in or successfully completed the Supervised Teaching Internship
- 2.5 grade point average
- Students may participate in commencement with the registration of 6 remaining credits for degree completion during the summer I session , only if applicable.
For non-state approved programs:
Must satisfy all NSU and FSEHS course requirements in addition to the following:
- Either currently enrolled in or successfully completed the capstone course

prior to June 1 of the same year. Participation in the June 2009 ceremony is limited only to graduates whose degrees were conferred (awarded) prior to June 1, 2009. |
