Curriculum
Language Learner Training Unit
The four-level curriculum is preceded by a Language Learner Training Unit that has been designed with the objective of providing the future English speaker with the tools needed to become an effective language learner. This unit is delivered in the form of an online workshop in a synchronous mode over a period of two weeks with meetings once a week for 2 hours each. The contents of this unit include—apart from the language learner training information-important details on the system needed to participate in the course and how to go about studying “online.”

Elementary |
EFL Elementary Foundations
This course presents EFL speakers/learners to the fundamentals of the English language combining the four skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension in an integrative content-based approach that will take them from the elementary to an intermediate level of English language proficiency.

Pre-Intermediate
|
EFL Intermediate Path
In this course EFL students are exposed to higher structures of the language which are practiced following a communicative model of instruction. EFL Pre-Intermediate is a course that allows students to progress from an elementary to an intermediate level of English language proficiency.

Intermediate
|
EFL High Intermediate Road
In this course, EFL students are encouraged to use the rules of the language accurately as well as with fluency. This is achieved through a broad range of communicative activities that combine listening comprehension, reading, speaking and writing through the use of varied techniques and approaches. This course brings students English language level from an intermediate to a high-intermediate level.

Upper Intermediate |
EFL Advanced Destinations
In this course, EFL students cover the most advanced structures of the language mainly through communication, advanced writing assignments and authentic listening and reading materials. Upon completion of this course, students are ready to pursue preparation courses for international examinations such as TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge FCE Exam.

Field Experience
A practical face-to-face language experience at the NSU campus with visits to Business School as well as selected companies in the area. |

FSE ELT Certificate
Al finalizar los 5 módulos del programa con un puntaje del 70% en el Comprehensive Exam, los estudiantes reciben el English Language Training Program Certificate of Completion de Fischler School of Education de Nova Southeastern University.
