NGTE Cluster Organization
Students entering NGTE Online Degree
Specializations are assigned to a cluster/cohort group
of others seeking a degree in their specific study area.
Clusters begin Fall 1, Winter 1, and Summer 1 as enrollment
demands. Clusters will follow the program outline for
the specialization and complete the program on the scheduled
completion date.
Example: Registrants of clusters beginning
Winter 1 will complete 2 courses per session (12 credits
per term) and finish their program of study prior to
start of Winter 1 term of the following year. 6 credits
x 6 term sessions = 36 credits.
How the cluster system works:
To assure students that enrollment will be adequate for courses to be offered,
students will be assigned to cluster groups who will follow an established
program outline for their specialization (major). Cohorts in cluster groups
are expected to take two courses per term session and in doing so, should
complete the degree program in six online terms (one year).
Upon notification of acceptance into
the program, students should contact the Specialization
Coordinator for their specialization. The Specialization
Coordinator will provide a program outline, cluster assignment
and start up information via email.
Please retain all information sent by
your Specialization Coordinator (electronic and hard
copy) for future reference.
