Degree Candidacy
Admission to Degree Candidacy (NGTE)
Students achieve candidacy after completing a minimum of 9 semester hours. Students must meet candidacy requirements by the time they have completed 18 semester hours of course work.
To qualify for degree candidacy applicants must:
- Have a completed admission file including official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities attended
- Earned a minimum 3.0 grade point average (4.0 scale) in CIT 502 (Educational Research) MS or NGTE 700 (EDS) and a minimum of two specialization courses (9 semester hours).
Degree Completion Requirements (NGTE)
To qualify for degree completion/graduation candidates must:
- Successfully complete requirements for degree candidacy
- Successfully complete program of study provided by adviser (36 credits MS) (30 credit Ed.S.)
- Complete and submit Application for Degree to the registrar's office.
