*NEW* Training Offered for Charter Schools
Schedule Your FL-DOE Approved Charter School Board Governance Training Prior to Dec 31
This is an e-reminder that we are available to offer you the required training to satisfy new legal requirements that all charter school board members receive governance training from FL-DOE approved trainers by December 31 of this year. The nonprofit Greater Capacity Consortium is prepared to meet your training needs with our approved network of trainers in Orlando, Miami and Tallahassee who crisscross the state conducting in-person workshops. We also offer boards the convenience of an online option.
Our online training is a combination of self-paced web modules that board members can view on their own 24/7 and webinars where all members of the board are connected at the same time through the Internet, but at any hour they choose and from any location with web access (e.g., home, office or school).
To learn more about our approved trainers, rates and options, check out our flyer on the web: http://www.greatercapacity.org/gccFLgovernance.pdf
We offer straightforward pricing (with all reasonable travel costs included) and no add-on fees. Our calendar is beginning to fill up (especially for weekend appointments), so we invite you to contact us NOW to schedule training for your board. Before we know it, the holiday season will be upon us, too, which tends to confound schedules for many people (though, we assure you, not ours).
Our professionally-developed web modules are also available to ALL of our clients for a full ninety days. It is great to have this resource to turn back to again and again at your own pace.

For ease of reference, a copy of the new Approved Governance Training rule can be found at:

No one likes mandates, but we aim to help you make the most of this training requirement. We have the track record (which predates the new Rule) and the expertise to make this a real opportunity to enhance the public accountability of charter school boards throughout the state. Check out our flyer and email or call us with questions. We look forward to being of support to you.
