La Nova Cl@se
The Fischler School of Education and Human Services of Nova Southeastern University (http://www.schoolofed.nova.edu) and Canal Cl@se, from the Cisneros Foundation invite educators to participate in the certificate program LA NOVA CL@SE.
The goal of these courses is to facilitate updated information about the pedagogical use of information and telecommunication technologies, taking advantage of the extraordinary capabilities of educational television via Canal Cl@se.
The course covers eight 60 minute television programs aired on DirecTV. Experts from Nova Southeastern University will present each of the themes for the eight programs in the Spanish language. Additional online support includes interaction on the WebCT educational platform. This platform enhances online interactions between students and course content,and between the participants and the facilitators.
The themes of LA NOVA CL@SE are best of both worlds, new learning environments, learning and online platforms, virtual classrooms, video and audio conferences, distance education, and technologies for use in preschool and elementary education.
LA NOVA CL@SE is geared toward educators from all teaching levels, from preschool through postgraduate doctoral degrees. It’s ideal for school superintendents, supervisors, corporate instructors, instructional designers, social workers, Webmasters, educational media specialists, and anyone who is interested in furthering his or her experiences in the educational uses of information and telecommunications technologies.
The course fee US $ 100, which will grant entry to the interactive online platform, here all content will be provided (study guides, additional readings and evaluation exercises.)
