INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
THE FISCHLER CUP ACADEMIC CHALLENGE (ONGOING )

Award amount: Tuition for a 3-credit master's degree course
or tuition for a full master's degree

Requirements: Fourth and fifth grade students at participating
schools can complete weekly web-based quizzes for the highest monthly score
for their school. The school with the highest annual score will receive
a full teacher scholarship for a master's degree to be used by one of
the school's faculty.

Requirements: Any currently enrolled undergraduate or
graduate Fischler School of Education and Human Services student studying
on an I-20 visa or enrolled in online or locations inside the United
States . The participant demonstrating the greatest knowledge about the United
States and American culture by answering a series of Internet-based quizzes
will be awarded this scholarship.
THE HOMELAND SECURITY COMMON KNOWLEDGE CHALLENGE (NOVEMBER)

Common Knowledge Scholarship. It takes an entire family to answer questions

Doctoral Fellowship
Award Amount: Stipend of $25,000 plus tuition, books, materials
for same year

Requirements: Applicants for admission or currently
enrolled students in one of the doctoral studies. Must be available
for full-time employment at North Miami Beach campus for one calendar year.
Complete the online application by September 1st for a start date in
the following year.

year's recipients of the National Distinguished Principals (NDP). NDP's

NATIONAL ALLIANCE OF BLACK EDUCATORS (NABSE) SCHOLARSHIP

Fischler School doctoral programs for at least one year and hold membership

NICOLE WEISER SCHOLARSHIPS

Requirements: For Speech-Language and Communication Disorder
Programs. For master's students who work as a school-based clinician
with one year of working experience. Also for new students or second year master
students who demonstrate academic excellence, motivation, leadership
and personal achievement. Students are required to also submit letters of recommendation
and an essay. The awards go to the students that best exemplify the highest
standard of academic excellence, clinical skill development, and service
to our program.

are accepted from parents , colleagues and supervisors. Nominees must
be professionals who are currently working with children from birth to age

education program, be a junior, have earned 60 credit hours or an AA degree,
and have not exceeded 18 hours of upper division education courses at the time
of application. Minority categories include African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino,
Asian American/Pacific Islander, or American Indian/Alaskan Native. Preference
is given to recent community college graduates.
