The
South Florida Writing Project (SFWP) advances the teaching of writing
based upon the National Writing Project (NWP) model. Through its extensive
network of teachers, the National Writing Project seeks to promote exemplary
instruction of writing in every classroom in America.
Teacher consultants, who have honed their skills by participating in
the invitational institute, conduct the training of their peers according
to the "teachers teaching teachers" concept. The South Florida Writing
Project currently offers five components.
