Sunset of ARO courses

Notice to all SLPD students:

With the implementation of the Education Major, the applied research courses for the “old” curricula will be phased out. All students in the SLPD program must complete their ARO courses according to the following schedule:

1. All ARO 8711 and ARO 8713 courses will be terminated after the close of the fall 2006 semester.
   
   
2. All ARO 8712 courses will be terminated after the close of the winter 2007 semester.
   
   
3. All ARO elective curses (i.e., ARO 8714, ARO 8715, and ARO 8716) will be terminated after the close of the summer 2007 semester. You should plan your academic program with the above timelines in mind.

However, although the above courses will be eliminated, students who do not complete the above courses will be given the opportunity to complete new ARC courses to complete their doctoral studies.
