Conference Hotel Information

The official conference hotel is Disney's Contemporary Resort in Orlando, FL. All conference sessions and activities (with the exception of required courses) will take place at the Contemporary Resort. A block of rooms has been reserved at the NSU Summer Conference rate of $159.00 per night for the duration of the Conference. This rate will be available up to Friday, June 27, 2008. Reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space and rate available basis.

There are now two overflow hotels for the Conference. The first is Disney's Polynesian Resort. The room rate is the same as the Contemporary Resort rate of $159.00 per night. The Polynesian Resort is on Disney's Monorail transportation system. The second overflow hotel is Disney's Port Orleans/French Quarter. The room rate at the Port Orleans is $139.00 per night. The Port Orleans/French Quarter is not on Disney's Monorail transportation system; however there will be NSU sponsored bus transportation to and from all Conference hotels and the NSU Orlando Student Education Center for classes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Buses will also run between the Port Orleans/French Quarter and the Contemporary Resort.

You may reserve a room at any of these hotels depending on your personal preferences for price, location, décor, etc. The hotels are comparable in services, food, and other amenities. All hotels have high speed Internet connection for the charge of $9.95 per day. Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers wireless Internet connection, but Disney’s Polynesian Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans/French Quarter do not have wireless.

Disney Resorts is now accepting reservations. If you wish to make reservations, you may do so by contacting Disney's Contemporary Resort Group Reservations directly at (407) 824-3869. You may also submit your reservation via fax to (407) 824-3738. With your fax, you must also include your credit card information to secure your reservation. Please mention that you are with Nova Southeastern University conference for the special room rate. If you do not call the above phone number or mention that you are with Nova Southeastern University, there is no guarantee you will receive the conference rate. Please also note the hotel's cancellation policy below:

"In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, including credit card deposit transactions, notification of cancellation must be received 5 days prior to your arrival. This may be done by calling 407-824-3869. Additionally, if you are holding any other reservations, they will not be modified or cancelled unless you advise the hotel."
