Workshop Overview

This workshop focuses on evaluating the school library media program using the ExC3EL Evaluation Rubric.

Objectives

• Correlate the ExC3EL Evaluation Rubric components to best practices in a school library media program.
• ldentify samples/artifacts that correlate current practices to outstanding qualities of a library media program as identified in the evaluation rubric
• Analyze and evaluate a library media program and score it using the rubric and ancillary documents
• Identify strategies to improve weaker areas of the library media program.
