Course Description
This workshop is an introduction to instructional design that will teach you how to design learning experiences in 18 hours of classroom based instructor led sessions. The workshop objectives map to the ASTD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance Area of Expertise in Designing Learning.
The workshop focuses on your skill development through hands-on practice opportunities, classroom activities, projects assignments and feedback. Your workshop will host South Florida Executives and Professionals that will share their practitioner views and answer your questions.
Learning Outcomes
After completing this workshop you will be able to:
- Analyze the audience, context and task to be instructed
- Design learning experiences
- Supervise the development of learning materials
- Implement learning programs
- Evaluate the learning experiences
- Prepare an RFP and select among bidding vendors

Professionals that design learning experiences and contract or supervise development of classroom and e-learning.
Instructional Model
This Designing Learning Workshop will run during six consecutive Wednesday evening sessions August 23 - September 27 from 6:00 pm -9:00 pm for a total of 18 hours.
