NSU offers Education programs in a variety of formats at the main campus in Fort Lauderdale and at student educational centers around Florida and in Las Vegas. Whether students complete the Education program at the main campus in a traditional day format or at one of the student educational centers in a convenient evening format, they learn the best-accomplished practices in the field of education today. The student-faculty interaction and the commitment of the professors make the Education programs at NSU unrivaled. Small classes (seldom larger than 25 students) allow professors to get to know each student. NSU's education programs are Florida State-Approved and include all requirements for preservice teachers to earn certification in Florida and to establish eligibility for certification in other states. The Florida Department of Education awards teacher certification.
